Three Spring Summer 2020 Fashion Trends

After establishing the country's largest importer of luxury apparel and accessories, Madaluxe Group, mother/son executive team Sandy Sholl and Adam Freede launched Madaluxe Vault, a direct-to-consumer model. Madaluxe Vault offers customers the latest high fashion trends of the season at accessible price points.

During the 2020 Spring and Summer Fashion Weeks, top designers debuted looks representing the upcoming season’s most current trends. Some styles that appeared several times on the runway include:

Tiered ruffles: Romantic and light, ruffles appeared on floor-length gowns, maxi skirts, and full sleeves. Moschino featured ruffles on a flamenco-inspired dress, while Oscar de la Renta offered super-feminine tulle pieces in pink.

Ultra crop tops: The lingerie as clothing look hit peak popularity in the SS 2020 season. Bra tops appeared in a variety of materials, including crochet, sophisticated satins, and see-through fabrics. High-waisted bottoms completed the look.

Deep necklines: Versace dedicated its spring and summer show to celebrating its iconic navel-grazing neckline popularized by Jennifer Lopez 20 years ago. The collection featured plunging necklines on an innovative mix of layered outfits and form-fitting dresses.
